Four Months Old!

Julia has her four-month appointment Friday. All is good! She weighs 12lb 9oz and is 25in long. We also got the go ahead to start her on some rice cereal- yummy! Here's a picture of that fun adventure from Friday...

Also, Julia has become an expert thumb sucker, just like her mother used to be when she was little. Before this pic, Julia would suck on her thumb with her hand spead out across her face.

Baby Love

A couple weekends ago Andrew's friends, Chris and Shannon, came down for Chris's birthday and they brought their youngest, Ben, with them. We had so much fun! Here's a cute pic that was taken of Ben and Julia together. What a cute pair!

Special Day

This past weekend, Julia was baptized. She did so well and we were fortunate enough to have friends and family celebrate with us. Here are some pics-

As you can tell, she was pooped! She fell asleep about halfway through.

It seems like overnight Julia is doing so much! She is laughing now, talking up a storm, discovered her feet and hands, and just yesterday she started trying to hoist her leg to roll over. It's amazing! Before you know it, she'll be crawling... stay tuned...

Two months old!!

Hello from the Hagoods! What a month it has been. Julia is now 2 months old. I can hardly believe it. She is growing and amazing us each and every day. As you can see from the pictures, our little sweet pea is now grinning up a storm. I was finally able to get some pictures of her smiling- it's much harder than you would think!

Boy, is she growing! Julia is now 10 lb 14 oz

and is almost 24 inches long. What a big girl! She's going to be very tall, I think.

Among other milestones, Julia is grinning, cooing and making all kinds of noises. She's going to be quite the talker. She is quite observant and doesn't miss much going on around her. Her little eyes are focusing on others more and she'll hold your gaze longer. She holds her head up and pushes against you with her feet. She has discovered her ears and loves to hold and pull on them. She is also a hair twirler, like her mommy.

Growing like a weed...

I cannot believe our baby girl is almost 6 weeks old!

Each day seems to bring a new discovery. We've noticed Julia will smile at our voices or at our faces at times- its really a smile (not just gas)! She can hold her head up, for what seems like forever. She is starting to coo and make those cute baby sounds- even in her sleep!

I cannot wait for her 2 month appointment at her doctor to see how she has changed and grown. More updates and pics to come...

Two weeks old!

Well, we had Julia's two week check-up this past Monday. She's a healthy, growing girl! She now weighs 8 lb 7 oz. When we left the hospital, she was down to 7 lb 9 oz. The doctor was very pleased to see her weight had gone up.- she's a good little eater! She also grew 1/2 an inch. We are now nearing three weeks of age. I cannot believe how fast time is going already. My maternity leave is almost halfway through. I don't think I ready to go back yet.
